Every UTC game day NextCall publishes three questions that have exactly two answers and one objectively checkable outcome. You pick an answer before that question’s deadline. After the deadline the outcome is settled against the source printed on the card, and your record updates.

What NextCall is notNot betting, not a prediction market, not a financial product. You never pay, and no money or prizes are ever awarded.
This is the part worth being blunt about, because the format invites the assumption. NextCall is not a betting product, not a prediction market, and not a financial product of any kind. You never pay to play. Nothing of value is ever awarded — not for a correct call, not for a streak, not for finishing first.
Points and accuracy are a record of how your calls turned out. They are not currency. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, cashed out, or bought.
There is no pool, no counterparty, and nothing at risk. The only thing a question can cost you is being wrong about it.
How questions are chosenWeather, space and science, scheduled technology, culture. Each one needs a written resolution rule and a named authoritative source before it is published.
A question earns its place by being settleable. Before it is published it must already have a plain-language resolution rule, a named authoritative source, and explicit criteria for being voided — all written down in advance, so the rule can never be adjusted after the outcome is known.

- Financial instruments and markets, elections and public office, sport, health, disasters and legal outcomes, anything about a private individual, and anything resting on rumour or opinion

- Public, authoritative and stable. A question whose outcome depends on a paywalled or unreliable source is not published
Every published question names its source on the card before you answer, not after. You can read the rule that will settle it while you are still deciding.
How results are settledAgainst the rule published before you answered, with the evidence attached. A delayed source leaves a question pending rather than guessed.
A result is published only with its evidence attached: what the source said, and when it was captured. A delayed or ambiguous source leaves a question pending rather than producing a guess, and a question that cannot be settled under its predeclared rule is voided with the reason shown to everyone it affected. A void scores nothing and leaves your accuracy untouched.
Corrections never overwrite history. If a published result turns out to be wrong, a new version supersedes it, the old one is preserved, and the change is announced with what changed and why.

Advertising, and only in a way that never touches the game. Advertising does not gate a question, delay a result, unlock a feature, or buy an advantage. No advertiser has any influence over which questions are published or how they are settled, and no question is ever about an advertiser’s outcome.
